LED video wall: bezel-free screens for control rooms, receptions and retail

An LED video wall is a single image the size of the wall, without the seams between monitors. We build it with three pixel pitches, depending on how far away people look at it: P1.53, P1.86 and P2.6.

Control rooms, receptions and retail

An LED video wall is made of cabinets that fit together without bezels, so the image is never cut. It is what you need wherever someone looks at the screen up close and for a long time:

Control rooms

Cameras, maps and dashboards on a single surface, with no lines splitting the data. We go into detail in LED screens for control rooms.

Receptions and lobbies

The brand on the lobby wall, as big as the wall and without bezels.

Retail and shops

Above the counter, on columns or on the shop wall, a step away from the customer.

Meeting rooms

Presentations and video calls on a screen you can read from the table.

Studios and streaming

The P1.53 and P1.86 refresh at 3,840 Hz or more: no flicker in front of the camera.

Stations and public spaces

Information in busy halls, like the screens we installed with the P2.6 in Bilbao.

How many cabinets your video wall needs

Choose the model and how many cabinets go across and down. We show you the size, resolution, weight and power consumption that come out of the datasheet figures.

Model

This is an estimate: the weight is that of the assembled cabinets, without the structure, and consumption comes from the W/m² in the datasheet. The project is closed after measuring the room. The P2.6 also comes in a 500 × 1,000 mm cabinet.

LED video wall or LCD video wall

An LCD video wall is made by putting monitors together, and each monitor has its bezel. This is how they compare with ours:

When does LCD make sense? When a single 55" or 75" screen is enough and it is viewed very close up: we have professional LCD monitors. If the screen has to cover a wall, LED leaves no seams.

Frequently asked questions about LED video walls

What is an LED video wall?

A large screen made of LED cabinets that fit together without bezels, so there is a single image, the size of the wall. We build it with the Fine Pitch P1.53 and P1.86, in 640 × 480 mm cabinets, and with the High Definition P2.6, in 500 × 500 mm or 500 × 1,000 mm cabinets.

How much does an LED video wall cost?

From 1,790 €/m² with the P2.6, 1,940 €/m² with the P1.86 and 1,970 €/m² with the P1.53 (VAT not included). The final price is closed per project based on the square metres, the processing and the installation. Financing and renting are available.

Which pixel pitch do I need?

The one that matches the viewer's distance: the P1.53 looks sharp from 1 to 1.5 metres, the P1.86 from 1 to 2 metres and the P2.6 from 2 to 3 metres. Before quoting, we measure the room and where people sit.

How is it different from an LCD video wall?

LCD puts monitors together and each one has its bezel: on our 75" monitor it is 13.8 mm, so two side by side leave about 28 mm of black. LED has no seams, is built to the size of the wall and lasts 100,000 hours, against 50,000 for LCD.

What resolution does an LED video wall have?

It depends on how many cabinets it has. Each cabinet gives 416 × 312 pixels on the P1.53, 344 × 258 on the P1.86 and 192 × 192 on the P2.6 (500 × 500 mm). For example, Full HD with the P1.86 takes 6 × 5 cabinets: 3.84 × 2.40 m and 2,064 × 1,290 pixels.

Can it be filmed?

The P1.53 and P1.86 refresh at 3,840 Hz or more and do not flicker in front of TV cameras: they work for studios and streaming. The P2.6 stays at 1,920 Hz or more: for camera work, the reference is the P1.86.

How much does it weigh and how much power does it use?

A P1.53 or P1.86 cabinet weighs 7.2 kg assembled, and a 500 × 500 mm P2.6 cabinet 5.3 kg. Average consumption ranges from 168 to 190 W/m² depending on the model, and maximum from 520 to 580 W/m². The calculator on this page adds it up for your size.

What warranty and maintenance does it have?

A lifespan of 100,000 hours and maintenance cabinet by cabinet, from the front on the P1.53 and P1.86. Base warranty of 2 years, extendable up to 5, with our own repair workshop and direct technical support from LEDLEMON.
