When space does not allow you to install a flat screen on a wall, or when you want to communicate in all directions simultaneously, LED screens on columns are the ideal solution. With flexible modules that adapt to any column or pillar diameter, this type of installation offers 360° visibility with no blind spot and with a visual impact that captures attention from any angle.
How does an LED screen on a column work?
LEDLEMON's flexible LED modules are manufactured with a soft substrate that allows them to be rolled around columns, pillars, posts or cylindrical structures of any diameter. The available Pixel Pitch options are P1.8 and P2.5 mm, which guarantee sharp image at short distances of 2–5 meters, typical of indoor spaces where they are usually installed.
Control electronics are integrated into the support structure itself. Content management is performed remotely via desktop software or mobile application, allowing you to update messages in real time from anywhere.
Main advantages
- 360° visibility: content is visible from any direction, with no dead angle.
- No structural work: installation does not require modifying the building structure.
- Adaptable to any diameter: from 30 cm columns to large-section pillars.
- Energy efficiency: low-consumption LED technology with optional automatic brightness sensor.
- Real-time content updates: promos, schedules, information, events.
- Premium aesthetics: perfect integration in luxury or high-end environments.
Where are they installed?
LED screens on columns are especially effective in high-traffic spaces where the public moves in all directions:
- Shopping malls: central corridors, entrances, atriums.
- Airports and stations: waiting areas, departures, duty free shops.
- Luxury hotels and corporate lobbies: reception, convention halls.
- Trade show and exhibition stands: to stand out a brand in highly crowded environments.
- Museums and experiential spaces: immersive artistic or informational installations.
Technology: flexible modules P1.8 and P2.5
For column installations, LEDLEMON uses P1.8 mm modules for very short distances (less than 2 meters) and P2.5 mm for distances of 2–5 meters. Both offer high-resolution image with vibrant colors and a refresh rate of 3.840 Hz, with no flicker effect in photographs or video broadcasts.
Installation process
- Technical visit: precise measurement of the column diameter and height.
- Custom manufacturing: cutting and configuration of modules to actual dimensions.
- Installation and wiring: assembly of the support structure and fixing of modules.
- Software configuration: installation of management software and user training.
- Testing and commissioning: verification of image, brightness and connectivity.
