High brightness LCD installation in Salou (Tarragona)
This project started with a very specific need.
Tropical Salou, one of the reference venues on the Costa Dorada, contacted us because they needed to renew the way they displayed their menu. In addition to its activity as a nightclub, the venue has a restaurant service that operates all year round, so they needed a screen capable of showing the menu on the facade, in broad daylight and directly exposed to the outdoors.
In such a location, a conventional screen is not an option. We recommended a professional LG LCD screen with 4,000 nits of brightness, designed precisely to be clearly visible even under direct sunlight, something that a standard TV or LCD cannot reliably offer for years.
We designed a custom structure with anti-vandal protection and a forced internal ventilation system, essential to keep the electronics at a stable temperature in facade installations exposed to heat. In addition, we incorporated a dedicated PC so that the Tropical Salou team can manage and update the menu content autonomously, without relying on third parties.
