LED curtains allow content to be displayed without losing visibility.
LED curtains are a type of screen designed to be installed on glazed facades and large surfaces where it is important to maintain natural light entry and visibility from inside the building. Unlike a conventional LED screen, they do not form a completely closed surface. They are made up of a series of parallel strips or bars on which the LED diodes are distributed, leaving empty spaces between them.
It is precisely this separation that makes their operation possible. The spaces between the strips allow light to pass through the screen and allow people inside to continue seeing the outside quite normally. From the outside, on the other hand, the eye perceives a continuous image, since the viewing distance makes those spaces practically unnoticeable and the content is seen as a single screen.
Thanks to this design, LED curtains are a widely used solution in shop windows, corporate buildings, car dealerships, shopping centres and other glass facades where the aim is to display digital content without giving up the functionality of the interior space. In addition to maintaining transparency, they offer a large display format and adapt to structures of different sizes.
As in any installation, before assembly we study the characteristics of the building, the fixing system and the viewing conditions in order to adapt the screen to each project and achieve a safe, clean result that is perfectly integrated into the facade.
A good example is the LED curtain we installed in 2020 for Ota Cochs, in Reus. In this project, the screen was integrated into the building's facade, allowing content to be displayed outwards without preventing visibility from inside. To this day, it remains a good example of how this technology can be incorporated into a building without altering its daily use. @immobiliaria.otacochs
